Applications are currently being accepted for the TechGirls Program 2024. The TechGirls initiative is a summer exchange program based in the United States, aimed at empowering and providing support to young women aged 15 to 17. These young women come from both the United States and selected countries across the globe. The program’s primary goal is to encourage and equip these participants to pursue higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields through practical, hands-on skills development training.

Since its inception in 2012, TechGirls has been instrumental in training and mentoring 653 teenage girls. Initially, the program primarily targeted countries in the Middle East and North Africa. However, during the summer of 2022, the TechGirls program expanded its reach globally, welcoming a talented group of young women with a passion for STEM from the United States and selected countries across all six regions of the world, including the Western Hemisphere, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and Eurasia, East Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa, as well as South and Central Asia.

Subsequently, the TechGirls embark on a journey to a city in the USA (choosing from options like Austin, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit, or Seattle) for a deep dive into community involvement and an exploration of STEM careers.
