Applications are open for the GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus Scholarships 2027 for international students seeking admission to the Global Markets, Local Creativities international master’s programme in September 2027.

The scholarship is connected to admission to the University of Glasgow and supports students undertaking a two-year, full-time programme delivered through the GLOCAL Consortium’s international university network.

About GLOCAL Consortium

The GLOCAL Consortium delivers the Global Markets, Local Creativities programme through a partnership of seven universities. The programme is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme.

The consortium brings together institutions working across subjects related to global capitalism, international business, markets, local economies, cities, regions, nations and their social, political and cultural contexts.

About The GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus Scholarships 2027

The scholarship supports students entering the 2027–2029 intake of the Global Markets, Local Creativities programme. The master’s programme runs for two years, is studied full-time and carries 120 ECTS credits.

Students follow an international study pathway involving partner institutions in the GLOCAL Consortium. The exact universities attended and the degree awarded depend on the pathway selected. Depending on the pathway, graduates may receive an International Master, Master of Arts, Master of Social Science or Postgraduate Certificate, with joint or multiple degree awards available under the relevant route.

The programme combines academic study with activities designed to connect theory to international and local economic contexts. These activities include case studies, masterclasses, guest lectures and debates with international colleagues. Possible internship opportunities are also included within the programme structure.
