About The AGORA Fellowship Program 2026
The AGORA Fellowship is designed for Spirit-filled, excellence-driven African leaders who are developing Christ-centred influence in their fields. It is intended for leaders with established professional experience and a legally registered social enterprise or business operating in Africa.
The nine-month programme brings together a cohort of 12 fellows for a structured experience involving intensive Christian discipleship, leadership formation, institution-building, systems-level leadership development, enterprise mentoring, mentorship, collaboration and peer learning. Fellows also take part in strategic exposure, immersive learning and residency activities before completing a capstone Kingdom Impact Project, graduation and final commissioning.
Each fellow develops a Kingdom Impact Project that addresses a real societal challenge connected to the fellow’s area of influence. The project is assessed during the final commissioning by a panel comprising Praise Fowowe, Karen Ubani and Bukky Femi Ajala.

Eligibility And Requirements

What AGORA Fellows Do
Selected fellows participate actively in the fellowship’s learning, leadership and project-development activities. Their responsibilities include:
- Taking part in intensive Christian discipleship and leadership-formation activities.
- Building practical capacity in institution-building and systems-level leadership.
- Participating in enterprise mentoring and strategic exposure sessions.
- Engaging in immersive learning and residency activities.
- Learning alongside other African leaders through mentorship, collaboration and peer learning.
- Developing a Kingdom Impact Project that addresses a real societal challenge.
- Presenting the Kingdom Impact Project for assessment during the final commissioning.
- Completing the fellowship’s graduation and commissioning activities.
Programme Structure And Learning Experience
The fellowship combines spiritual formation with practical leadership and institution-building development. Discipleship activities focus on the Christian foundations of the fellowship, while leadership formation develops the capacity required to lead with excellence and influence systems.
Institution-building and enterprise mentoring provide a practical focus for fellows who lead businesses, social enterprises, ministries, public institutions or other organisations. Strategic exposure, immersive learning and residency activities give fellows opportunities to examine leadership and societal influence in applied settings.
Mentorship and peer learning form another part of the experience. Fellows engage with mentors and learn alongside a small group of leaders working across different sectors and spheres of influence. The programme concludes with capstone development, project assessment, graduation and final commissioning.
Kingdom Impact Project
Every fellow develops a Kingdom Impact Project during the programme. The project must address a real societal challenge and connect with the fellow’s area of work or influence. At the final commissioning, fellows present their projects to a judging panel consisting of Praise Fowowe, Karen Ubani and Bukky Femi Ajala.

The fellowship faculty comprises Beatrice Schultz, Bukky Femi Ajala, Seyi Adisa, Dr. Abiola Salami and Tochukwu Macfoy, also known as Dr. Foy.
