Written by The Women at Microsoft Inclusion Network with the Seattle Foundation have established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs pursuing an area of study related to technology, engineering, math, or computer science.
The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals.
Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team and a selection committee at the Women at Microsoft Inclusion Network.

Requirement for the Women at Microsoft Scholarship 2026
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Self-identify as a woman, non-binary, gender fluid or transgender woman
- Plan to enroll full-time in a technology, engineering, math, or computer science related undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year. (International applicants are welcome to apply if they will attend school in the United States.)
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.
Selection Criteria for Women at Microsoft Scholarship 2026
The program will use criteria including the consideration of academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, a statement of career and educational goals and objectives, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an online recommendation.
