The University of Quebec Scholarship is an exciting opportunity to join a fully funded MSc or PhD project on Groundwater Geochemistry across the Greater Montréal Metropolitan Area!
Since 2009, the PACES program has been at the forefront of understanding Québec’s groundwater resources—but the Montréal region still holds many unexplored scientific questions. This project aims to change that by providing a comprehensive overview of groundwater quality in one of Canada’s most dynamic regions.
The product is a perfect mix of fieldwork, geochemistry, and environmental analysis aimed at;
- Synthesizing existing groundwater data
- Leading a targeted sampling campaign to fill knowledge gaps
- Defining groundwater facies & key controls on water quality
- Producing a regional groundwater quality map.
