About the Role
As part of the Platform team, you’ll build and maintain the backend systems that power Speechify from payments and subscriptions to analytics, TTS services, and external APIs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, thinks strategically, and enjoys making impactful product decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust internal and public APIs
- Improve backend performance and scalability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions and enterprise integrations
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product vision
What You’ll Need
- Strong experience with backend development in TypeScript/Node.js
- Hands-on experience with GCP (plus knowledge of AWS or Azure)
- Fast, thoughtful decision-making and execution
- Bonus: Experience with Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes
