Software Engineer at Cortes 23

Cortes 23 is hiring a Software Engineer to build end-to-end product features across a modern React/Next.js and TypeScript stack. You’ll work directly with the CTO to ship production-ready solutions that power life insurance carriers through an integrated tech platform.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and ship features end-to-end (React, TypeScript, Next.js)
• Extend backend systems and occasionally build Python data integrations
• Write tests and maintain high code quality
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and production deployments

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in software engineering
• Strong React, TypeScript, and Next.js expertise
• Experience deploying production-ready code and owning features
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Clear communicator with a strong builder mindset

Nice to Have: Serverless/cloud-native experience, monorepos, infrastructure-as-code, Pulumi (SST), event-driven systems, Python/data pipelines.
