    Job Title : Finance & Account Officer

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented any organized Account Officer to join our finance team. The Account Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    Location : Lekki, Lagos State.

    Employment Type: Full-time

    Preferred Gender: Female (for Gender balance)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
    • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor and track company expenses to ensure they are within budget.
    • Process invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
    • Assist in the preparation of tax return and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and resolve any financial discrepancies.
    • Support the finance team in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
    • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems.

    Qualifications and Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with the fintech industries is a plus.
    • Professional certification is desirable and an added advantage
    ° ICAN membership is an advantage

    Compensation
    • N250,000 -N350,000
