What the Internship Offers (Benefits)

Who Can Apply (Eligibility Criteria)
To be eligible for the ECW Internship 2026, you should:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Be enrolled in a Master’s degree programme, or have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the past three years.
- Have an academic background in education, international development, social sciences, humanitarian work, or related fields; strong data-analysis skills (Excel, R, STATA, Power Query, etc.) are a plus.
- Be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking). Knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
- Be available to work full-time remotely, aligning with Geneva/UN duty-station working hours (CET).

Internship Duration & Conditions
- Duration: 5–6 months (preferred 6 months / 26 weeks)
- Working hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week; flexible scheduling possible with supervisor agreement. Up to 2.5 days off per month allowed (stipend adjusted if more leave is taken)
- Remote-first approach: Interns will work remotely, with optional office space in Geneva or New York (if needed or preferred)
