The Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) is a flagship financial inclusion initiative of the National Social Investment Programme Agency, designed to support micro and small-scale entrepreneurs across Nigeria. The programme provides zero-interest, collateral-free loans to help economically active Nigerians expand their businesses, improve productivity, and build sustainable livelihoods.
GEEP focuses on reaching people who are often excluded from formal banking systems, including smallholder farmers, petty traders, artisans, and market women. Through its loan schemes, beneficiaries can access affordable capital to grow their enterprises without the burden of high interest rates.
