Social enterprises and impact-driven organisations with proven solutions to social or environmental challenges can apply for the 100x Impact Accelerator Programme 2027/28.

Based at the London School of Economics (LSE), 100x Impact supports ventures seeking to expand their reach and create lasting change. Selected organisations will receive £150,000 in catalytic funding, a tailored

16-week accelerator and a longer-term partnership focused on scaling their impact.

Applications are open to organisations worldwide, including eligible ventures in Africa. The deadline is November 2, 2026.

About the 100x Impact Accelerator

The programme works with social ventures that have demonstrated their solutions can work and are ready to reach significantly more people.

Rather than focusing only on expanding an organisation’s size, 100x helps founders identify ways to scale their impact. These may include partnerships, government adoption, digital solutions, open-source approaches and other routes that allow a proven model to reach more communities.

The accelerator is open to both for-profit and nonprofit ventures working across different impact areas.

Who Can Apply?

The programme is intended for organisations with a proven solution, evidence of results and a credible plan for reaching more people.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • A clearly defined problem: Evidence of the problem being addressed and the people affected by it.
  • A proven solution: A model that has been tested and demonstrated positive outcomes.
  • Evidence of impact and growth: Adoption, measurable results and a track record of implementation.
  • A capable team: Leaders with the experience, ambition and operational skills to grow the organisation.
  • A credible scaling plan: A practical route to reaching more people, with an understanding of the challenges involved.
  • Potential for system-level change: The ability to influence how a problem is addressed beyond the organisation’s immediate beneficiaries.

The programme welcomes applications from different countries and impact sectors. 100x aims for 70% of its portfolio to come from emerging markets and values applications where founders or senior team members are based in the regions where their organisations operate.

Which Sectors Are Eligible?

100x Impact works across several areas of social and environmental change.

1. Health and social care

What Will Selected Ventures Receive?

£150,000 in Catalytic Funding

Each selected venture will receive £150,000 in catalytic funding to strengthen its pathway to scale. The funding is intended to help organisations move towards wider adoption of their proven solutions.

A Tailored 16-Week Accelerator

The programme begins with a 16-week accelerator tailored to each venture’s needs. Support focuses on identifying effective scaling strategies, improving impact measurement and strengthening leadership.

Strategic Support and LSE Research Expertise

Participants can draw on 100x’s strategic support and the research expertise of the London School of Economics to examine their models and determine how to expand their impact.

Access to Funders, Advisers and Partners

Selected ventures join a network of funders, advisers, partners and peer organisations. These connections can help founders explore partnerships and develop new routes to scale.

Potential Follow-On Funding

Additional funding may be available to selected ventures, depending on suitability and the availability of funds. It is not guaranteed.

How Will Applications Be Assessed?

100x assesses both the people leading a venture and the strength of its model.

The main considerations include the problem being addressed, the solution’s distinctiveness, evidence of results, the team’s capabilities and the credibility of its scaling strategy.

The organisation also considers whether 100x can make a meaningful contribution to the venture’s progress at its current stage.

After the initial review, up to 50 teams may be invited to the next stage. Shortlisted ventures can expect an initial online interview, followed by detailed due diligence for those progressing further. An independent selection committee makes the final decisions.
