The Federal Ministry of Works has announced an extension of its Call for Applications for the engagement of unemployed Graduate Engineers and Skilled Artisans across all Local Government Areas in Nigeria under the Ministry’s Capacity Building and On-Site Training Programme.
Tertiary Education Support
This initiative is a key intervention under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s technical workforce, empowering young Nigerians, and supporting the delivery of critical national infrastructure projects.
Why This Programme Matters
Nigeria’s infrastructure sector requires skilled local professionals who can deliver projects efficiently and sustainably. This programme addresses youth unemployment while building a strong pipeline of trained engineers and artisans equipped with modern construction skills.
By combining structured field training with real project involvement, the initiative enhances employability, promotes technology transfer, and strengthens national capacity for infrastructure delivery.
