About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our growing fintech team in Yaba, specializing in cryptocurrency trading, gift card redemption, and digital payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare and reconcile accounts, including bank statements, invoices, and expenses.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate financial reports to provide insights to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and basic accounting functions.
- Familiarity with accounting software and bookkeeping principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proximity to Yaba is an added advantage.
