Flowmingo is a Y Combinator-backed AI startup building the infrastructure to democratize hiring.
Recruiters today interview only a small percentage of applicants, leaving massive talent pools undiscovered. Our AI-native platform enables companies to interview every applicant efficiently and at scale.
We are building for emerging markets first, with global ambition from day one.
We are looking for structured, high-agency operators to join our 2-year Global Management Trainee Program.
This is a fast-track leadership development initiative designed to build the next generation of operators and managers at Flowmingo.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role: you will rotate across core business areas, learn how an AI startup operates at scale, and eventually own a function or region.
You’ll be accountable for delivering results in a high-growth, remote-first environment.
Program Tracks
Intern Track (Part-Time):
- Minimum 20 hours per week, 24-month structured program for final-year students or fresh graduates.
Early Career Track (Full-Time):
- 24-month accelerated pathway for professionals with 0–3 years of experience.
What You’ll Own (24-Month Roadmap)
Phase 1 (0–6 Months):
- Foundations of Execution.
- Support live projects across functions, track KPIs, and improve internal workflows.
Phase 2 (6–12 Months):
- Cross-Functional Rotation.
- Rotate through 2–3 core functions (Growth, Operations, Product, or Monetization). Lead scoped initiatives and own small KPIs.
Phase 3 (12–18 Months):
- Initiative Leadership.
- Lead cross-functional projects, manage junior team members, and design scalable operational systems.
Phase 4 (18–24 Months):
- Management Evaluation
- Own a specific function or major initiative. Evaluate readiness for transition into permanent managerial roles.
What We Look For
- High Agency: You don’t wait for instructions; you find ways to make things happen.
- Systems Thinking: You think in frameworks and understand how to design scalable systems rather than just fixing individual problems.
- Intellectual Rigor: Strong academic or professional performance with the ability to communicate clearly in written English.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where the path isn’t always marked.
- Emerging Market Empathy: You are curious about technology and its impact on the Global South.
Why This Program is Different
- Direct Impact: You won’t be doing “busy work.” You will be shipping features and systems that thousands of candidates use.
- Elite Peers: Work alongside team members from top institutions (YC, UPenn, NYU, etc.) and learn from founders directly.
- YC Network: Gain access to one of the most powerful startup networks in the world.
- Remote-First Excellence: Learn how to operate effectively in an async-first, global company.
Application Process
We don’t believe in long, drawn-out processes, but we do screen for the top tier:
- Application form
- AI interview – We care more about how you think and learn than how fancy your CV looks.
- Interview(s) with the team.
