Funded by the European Union, Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters in Imaging Consortium consists of three European universities, known for their research and education in various imaging technologies.

2026/28 Erasmus Mundus Imaging Scholarship Requirements 

Basic degree requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in information and communication technologies, computer or electrical engineering, or in a related field with
  • At least 30 ECTS in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, including courses in probability theory and statistics and linear algebra, and
    60 ECTS in Computer Engineering including a course in object-oriented programming.

Country specific requirements

Applicants must also demonstrate English Language proficiency.

Scholarship Perks 

  • Although EMJM in Imaging programme will accept students with or without scholarships, The Erasmus Mundus Imaging Scholarship offers around 15 scholarships per year.
  • The scholarship will contribute to participations costs, medical insurance, a monthly living allowance, and a contribution to travel and installation.
  • The sum that a student will receive via scholarship is 1400 € per month, for a maximum of 24 months.

Step 🪜 by Step Application Guide for the 2026/28 Erasmus Mundus Imaging Scholarship

If you wish to apply for the scholarship, you can make your scholarship application together with your program application in the application portal.

  • Students will then be notified via email of their scholarship application results (along with their EMJM in Imaging application results).
  • The Evaluation criteria for students applying to the master programme are the following:
    • Academic Excellence and CV
    • Motivation letter
    • Recommendation Letters
  • For each criterion, a numerical grade is given.
  • The final grade (out of 100) is calculated as a weighted sum of the grades for each criterion. The students are ranked according to the final grade.
